By Mid-January, MUGO signed the contract for the maintenance of the green spaces of the M campus complexe’s main building in Meudon! Conceived by STUDIO MUGO, they were executed by the creative team and reflect MUGO’s know-how. STUDIO MUGO wanted to enhance the building’s massive terrace on the Seine side, visible from across the tower, putting the focus on the users. To achieve this, three furnished wooden terraces have been built like an overhang on the vegetalised swale, offering private and relaxing spots in the middle of the greenery in the shade of the trees.
The vegetation has been diversified and enhanced. The main terrace features planted containers and coppiced (or pollarded) trees. The landscape has different kinds of use to suit everyone’s needs. The six buildings of M Campus, spread over 45,000m2, feature many outdoor spaces including terraces, gardens and rooftops. Inside, bright and divisible floors offer panoramic views over the Seine and a wide range of services. MUGO is part of the 2021 program of additional works aimed at improving the environmental performance of the site following its renovation in 2018. As a result, the buildings scored a BREEAM In-Use excellent rating, exceeding their initial targets. Four of the previously PGIM Real Estate -owned buildings have been sold to Primonial, while being rented to Thales. The other two buildings are rented by Capgemini, Thales, Vallourec and HP.
